I have a registrant with a different name from the USCF ID name. I am thinking this may be a parent registering their child, but they used their own name as the registrant. I sent an email for clarification, but have not received a response. Should I be concerned?

No. Female registrant, male USCF ID. Perhaps I should call (The last person I called, after no response to the email, wouldn’t take messages).

In both cases, perhaps the thing to do ask the players when they show up. US Chess’s membership system seems very prone to get names messed up, and the Canadian FIDE player has apparently been in both our system and FIDE’s for a while.
