Where in the new site can I find the Top 100 by Age, State etc rankings ? If they aren’t added yet, when are we expecting to add them?
Thanks.

Top 100 lists probably won’t be available for another week or two.
Rankings for a player (national and state) are available on a player’s page, lists of rankings by state are available on the rankings page using the filter by state.
Junior and senior rankings will probably not be present for another few weeks.
If a player is not a current member or does not have activity in the last year, that player is not eligible for rankings.
top 100 lists by age were usually posted on 15th of each month, before the migration to MUIR. Many coaches use top 100 list by age to boast, increase scholastic club’s visibility, and track their star students’ progress.
I’m not sure where they’ll be posted, possibly on the legacy site this month, since the October Ratings list was generated on that system, but they should be posted this week.
The legacy site for Top 100 lists is at https://www.uschess.org/assets/top_players/toplistindex.php
By the time the November Top lists are ready to be posted in mid-December, we should have MUIR working for them.
Is Korey going to release November top 100 by age lists on https://www.uschess.org/assets/top_players/toplistindex.php today?
I believe so, but I don’t know his schedule today
I asked Korey and apparently his concern is that the age/gender verification emails didn’t go out this month with all the MUIR stuff going on so there could be a number of younger players who don’t get listed because they don’t have a verified gender/birthdate on file. (They can do this verification from their member dashboard now.)
He’s going to send those letters out today and give people until Wednesday to do the verification so the list should come out Thursday.
This month’s Top 100 lists will still be on the legacy system, but by next month the MUIR system needs to be ready to handle both the current and historical lists.
Did Korey send the verification emails
and is November top 100 by age lists on track for release today? Thank you
I think tomorrow rather than today.
Korey made a copy paste error?
Under 18 ranking overwritten 18-49 rankings…
I doubt that’s a copy/paste issue, I’ll have to look into it. Probably won’t happen until this afternoon.
an estimate of when December 2025 list will be released on MUIR?
Korey got the birthdate verifications done for December?
I’m not sure if Korey’s got the worklist to send those out, It’s on my issues list for the upcoming call with staff and developers.
OK, after talking about it for at least 15 minutes, here’s where we are on Top 100 lists. We spent a lot of time discussing the eligibility criteria and process for validating them.
First, here’s how we’re planning the new system to work:
Early in the month, probably on the 2nd, the system will generate the verification emails to send to potential Top 100 list members. (In the past, generating the preliminary list and sending out the emails was done manually.)
On the 15th of the month, the system will generate and publish the final list, which gives players roughly 2 weeks to verify their eligibility for the Top 100 lists. (In the past, generating and publishing the list was done manually.)
So, with that in mind as to how we want this to work in the future, here’s where we are for the December lists.
The program to generate the verification emails is not yet written and tested. However, Korey says he’s heard from a number of people who think they might be eligible for the December Top 100 lists and he explained the verification process, so we won’t actually send out the emails this month. Hopefully they’ll have that email task working by early January.
The plan is to generate the final Top 100 lists either Wednesday night or Thursday night (the supplement job takes precedence) but not publish it until we’ve had a chance to look it over for problems. So, barring problems it will probably be available on MUIR on Thursday or Friday.
Thank you and Korey.
Where is the new top 100 by age page on MUIR?
Not done yet, had to get the supplement done first, because TDs were waiting for it.
Hopefully later today.
Thank you. I see Leago is working on it, though far from finished.
both online regular Age 50 and online regular Age 18-49 are showing for https://ratings.uschess.org/player/12454027
I don’t expect to have the full list to double-check it until tomorrow. And I will be AFK on Sunday and Monday.
have the lists been reviewed for problems?
will top 100 lists by age be part of https://ratings.uschess.org/ranking with a filter? or on a separate page. thank you
I believe there will be a separate page for Top 100 lists, since each monthly set has many separate lists and the archives will also (eventually) be available there as well.
