I have a tournament in “Review” since last Friday night.
I did a little investigating today. The Chief Assistant TD SafeSport expiration seems to be the issue.
It says his training expired, and his record is not showing at all on the SafeSport certified TD list.
How can I move this forward? I can’t remove him, MUIR won’t let me.
I think the question has to be why were you using a TD that didn’t have up to date SafeSport training? It’s up to the Chief TD to ensure every TD working a US Chess-rated event is a current member, a certified TD and has up to date SafeSport training otherwise the event won’t be eligible to be rated.
It’s possible that TD’s certification is up to date at SafeSport but not yet in US Chess records.
It has apparently been released and is in review. The way to get it out of review is, I believe, to cancel your release.
