Hi
I have been submitting jtp memberships and even after waiting a couple hours, their new uschess numbers do not show up when I do a search. Do I have to wait longer..will they never show up?

You can force the JTP membership to transfer to the new system faster if you need .
You will want to type the new us chess ID# into your tournament that you are entering manually. Then go to validate.. if validation does not work toggle the house player on and off . Eventually The system will recognize the number from membership and auto fill the name and other information.
Hope this helps.
records will NOT sync to MUIR if there is no birthdate or membership expiration date in the member record.
Not sure how this works with JTP, bur birthdates are requird for that anyway.
Thanks but although I submitted the jtp memberships, they dont show up when I look them up, so how can I type the new ID number into the tournament?
Thanks for your reply, Mr. Nolan. I have supplied birthdates for my jtp members, but they still names do not appear in my search for them on the ratings page.

give me some examples that I can check or have others check, email if you don’t want to post here, mnolan@uschess.org
or try the sync tool on your member dashboard
I would recommend finding the us chess id# using the following link
Once you know the ID# you can then type it in for a tournament using the manual editor.
You can also wait for the ID# to port naturally, not sure how long that will take though.
It should happen fairly quickly but there may be some unresolved sync issues, that’s why we need the ids or names to check on them. ratings-support@uschess.org is the email account for reporting issues, there are 3 of us checking it.
